About me

I’ve been involved in sport and movement for most of my life. I started rugby league at six years old, playing through to around 15, before moving deeper into strength & conditioning and athletics through school. That foundation shaped how I understand movement, performance, and long-term physical development — not just training for today, but building for the future.

In my mid-20s, around 24, I returned to rugby league, playing BRL, while also branching out into other disciplines like sport climbing and experimenting with different sports along the way. That variety gave me a broader understanding of how different bodies move, adapt, and break — and how important it is to train with purpose, not ego.

I’m not a quick-fix coach. I don’t believe in shortcuts or hype programs. My focus is on building habits, helping clients and athletes understand their bodies, and creating systems they can sustain long-term. Strength, resilience, and confidence come from consistency — not from burning yourself out.

I also train with perspective. I manage my own ongoing back injury, which has shaped how I coach. I understand what it’s like to want to get back to what you used to be capable of, and the mental battle that comes with setbacks. That experience allows me to coach with empathy — balancing progress, patience, and realistic goals.

My aim is simple: help people move better, get stronger, and build a relationship with training that actually lasts.
